Dress Code

Dress code for gentlemen on the course

  • All shirts must have collars and be tucked in - no football, hockey or rugby shirts.
  • No denim, cargo style, or tracksuits to be worn. ¾ Length trousers are not acceptable for gentlemen.
  • Shorts must be tailored and worn with either white sports socks, or knee length golfing socks. For gentlemen, socks must be worn at all times regardless of shoe type.
  • Golf Shoes must be worn - Hats and caps may be worn as designated but not facing backwards.

Dress code in the clubhouse

Spike Bar 

  • As on the course - if you change golf shoes then no trainers - please clean golf shoes before entering - no hats or caps.

Main Bar and dining room - before 7 p.m.

  • Smart casual but collared shirts which must be tucked in - no shorts, denim, trainers, tracksuits, hats or caps.

Main Bar and dining room - after 7 p.m.

  • Smart dress and always please change from the course. Gentlemen should wear a jacket, tie or roll neck shirt, trousers and shoes (No trainers)
  • If you attend a formal function - i.e. a meal following a match, or a presentation or social evening you should always change from your golfing attire before entering the main bar.

Mobile phones are not permitted on the course, or in the clubhouse and should always be turned off.
