The club was formed in 1893, although back then the club was originally called Southend Golf Club and it was located near Southchurch in Southend. In 1896 the membership were invited by James Tabor to move to Rochford where he offered to pay for construction of an eighteen hole course.
Rochford Hundred is a parkland course which is 6,355 yards from the white tees and has been that way since the course was redesigned in 1924.
The course par is 72.
Rochford Hundred Golf Club: The course is open. Buggies are for medical users only until further notice. Hole's 4, 10, 12 and 17 remain on temporary greens. All other green's are in play.
